Mission Statement

The mission of SIREN/Eaton Shelter is to promote the elimination of domestic violence and homelessness by providing temporary housing, support, advocacy, education, and information to the community.  SIREN/Eaton Shelter is committed to holding batterers responsible for their actions.

 

Why we exist

SIREN/Eaton Shelter (SIREN/ES) is in the community to support individuals and families who become homeless or need shelter due to domestic violence.

Services Available and How You Can Help:

  • 24-hour confidential crisis line:  800-899-9997 or 517-543-4915

  • Emergency Shelter

  • Transitional housing for those who need more time to rebuild their lives

  • Supportive counseling, both individual counseling and support groups are open to residents and non-residents

  • Parenting groups

  • Referrals to legal assistance

  • Help in accessing other needed resources

  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
